Stop The Next Giveaway To The 1%

We’re facing a stark choice between continuing subsidies and tax giveaways to giant corporations like Wells Fargo and the top 1% of wage earners on the one hand and making investments in the strength of our working families on the other.

We demand that the Administration and Congress reject any so-called "Grand Swindle" and settle the Fiscal Showdown according to these three principles:

  1. End the Bush tax cuts for families earning more than $250,000 annually.
  2. No cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security benefits.
  3. No cuts to vital services for low-income people.

There's more information here at our Winning the Fiscal Showdown page.

The rich bilk the system while our schools lose their funding. Are you kidding me? Why is our administration such a coward that it is afraid to punish and break the big banks that devastated our economy and ruined thousands of peoples lives? Also, reducing the cost of living increases of Social Security which is already too small and cutting the benefits of Medicare will kill tens of thousands of people. President Obama you are a disgrace!

we have a defect that needs to be addressed and giving more loopholes and entitlements (tax giveaways) is not the way to correct it.
