The federal funds rate was lowered greatly during those years, thus welcoming a mass of people borrowing money from banks even if they had no jobs or income. When the interest rate rose again, people could not keep, and they had a ton of debt they couldn’t pay.

I too was part of that statistic. I was bankrupt for a time. However, I did not let that stop me. I came back from hell and fought back. Due to the financial knowledge I gained, I got back up and I’m standing strong now. I’m not bankrupt anymore. And I’m here to share my experience to help you.
